Mission Statement

The mission of the Cape Canaveral Volunteer Fire Department is to provide the city of Cape Canaveral, the Canaveral Port Authority, and the unincorporated area of Avon by the Sea with trained professional personnel to protect life, property, and the environment in an economical, expedient, and competent manner.

ISO  CLASS 2 FIRE DEPARTMENT

ISO ratings are used by most insurance companies to help determine property insurance premiums.  Our up to date equipment, consistent training, water supply and emergency communication systems places our department in the top 3-4% of all fire departments nationwide.  CCVFD proudly maintains our ISO Class 2 rating, showing our commitment to keeping our community safe.
