​MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS
​(Additional certificate requirements listed below)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher education
• Must have valid FL Driver License​

MINIMUM REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS FOR VOLUNTEER POSITION

• State or National EMT License

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS FOR PAID POSITION

• FL State Firefighter I/II
• National Registry EMT/Paramedic License 
• EVOC -Emergency Vehicle Operations Course
• Candidates must pass a Canaveral Fire Physical Agility Test (PAT) prior to interview process
